in fog-prone area
MOUNTAIN
Mountain areas have many upslope fogs as humid air rises along the slopes due to the geographical characteristics. It occurs frequently in April-October except May, especially in September-October.

Fogs in Daegwallyeong mountainous areas occur mainly in the summer and fall seasons, and they have long-lasting characteristics when the east wind air currents are blown.
In autumn, radiation fog is more frequent than up-slope fog.
generally it lasts 2 to 4 hours,
but in winter, radiation fog is less frequent than radiation fog, though it is more affected by up-slope fog that lasts more than 24 hours.
